I have brushed some very hairy dogs in my time and I have gotten piles and piles of hair off of them. It's hard work and no matter how diligent I am in my brushing, there are always some stubborn stray hairs left behind! And I just know that's going to end up on my clothes or furniture later. So do I keep brushing? Nope. I'm done, I'm tired, and I let a wet paper towel get the rest.
I should have shown the hair on the paper towel. I'm new to video. Well anyway, I think you get the point. The wet paper towel picks up the hair really well and it's a nice refreshing treat for the dog or cat.
Well suppose you don't have a paper towel handy? I've often been in that situation. So I just wet my hands and then I brush the cat or dog with my wet hands, going head to tail. In no time, I have furry mitts on my hands. Horrible, right? Nope. I just rub my hands together and this rolls the hair until it's one long roll and my hands are dry. It's simple, effective, and of course the cats and dogs love it.
I'd love to hear your tricks for grooming your furry loved ones.
